Acmewin Completes Another Aibo II Dry Asher Shipment

Hsinchu, Taiwan — Feb 2026 — Acmewin International Corp., a supplier of plasma processing equipment to the global semiconductor industry, announced today that a a MEMS manufacturer located in Hsinchu Science Park has placed a formal order for Acmewin’s self-developed Aibo II Dry Asher, a fully automatic plasma photoresist stripping system. The system is scheduled for shipment in May 2026 and will be used for front-end photoresist stripping processes on 6-inch and 8-inch wafer manufacturing lines.

The customer, previously a Mattson Aspen II user, conducted a careful evaluation before selecting Acmewin’s Aibo II Dry Asher. According to the customer’s evaluation, Aibo II demonstrated clear advantages in price competitiveness, technical innovation, software interface, process capability, energy efficiency, and Industry 4.0 readiness.

This repeat successful shipment further confirms the competitiveness of Acmewin’s Aibo Asher series in customer evaluations. As semiconductor manufacturers continue to pursue higher efficiency, lower energy consumption, and smarter production models, more customers are choosing next-generation equipment platforms to replace aging legacy systems and move toward energy-saving and intelligent manufacturing.

Aibo II Dry Asher is a fully automatic plasma photoresist stripping system developed by Acmewin. Designed for 6-inch and 8-inch wafer processes, the platform delivers high strip rate, stable process performance, low particle control, a user-friendly software interface, and flexible process configuration. The system helps customers improve production efficiency, reduce maintenance risks, and prepare for advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 requirements.

Brooks noticed that the MDV and ACX product lines, associated parts and accessories have been discontinued. Brooks began end of life communications for these product lines in November of 2012.

Acmewin Receives Order for Aspen 2 ICP Retrofit to Lite Etch System

Hsinchu, Taiwan  — Acmewin International Corp., a supplier of used Aspen 2 stripper equipment, announced that a Taiwan foundry customer has placed an order for existing Aspen 2 ICP single chamber system retrofit to be Aspen 2 Lite Etch in Oct. 2012. The Lite Etch system is fully accpeted by customer and released for production in Nov.
